EGO! Keywi - designed by Laura Sapiens, the creator of EGO! Smartmouse - turns your smartphone in a wireless mouse, flash drive and key at the same time. It works with computers where EGO! Service Pack (free) is installed and running.
The Bluetooth connection is easier and faster than ever: just take picture of the QR-code displayed on the desired computer screen. In this way you save time avoiding the computers research and the manual pairing and you can move among computers without effort.
When EGO! Keywi is connected the smartphone screen becomes a touchpad with scrollbar to control the mouse and interact with the computer and the running applications. You can control Power Point, Prezi, YouTube, a media player or an internet browser from distance.
The paired cloud drive (200 MB free) automatically show up on the computer desktop as a folder when the app is connected, allowing a smart access to your documents, images, presentations, mp3s, bookmarks and much more.
EGO! Keywi supports gestures as shortcuts to open the cloud folder, to upload and to download the selected file. Just push the middle button on the touchpad and draw respectively a circle, a V and a ^.
The first time only you must pair the smartphone to your personal cloud drive, entering your EGO! Account credentials. Then your remote flash drive will follow you on every computer, keeping safe your stuff.
You can pair different types and an unlimited number of interaction devices to your personal cloud drive, accessible through the web at the url www.egoclouds.com. There you can sign up, list the paired devices, manage the cloud space and block a device in case of lose or stole.
INSTRUCTIONS
1) Install EGO! Keywi app on your smartphone ot tablet.
2) Install EGO! Serice Pack software on your PC (free download - http://www.laurasapiens.com/en/download-area/ego-service-pack)
This is enough to use the app like a wireless mouse or touchpad. If you want use the cloud drive you have to do other two steps, but one time only.
3) Create an EGO! Account, sign up on https://www.laurasapiens.com or https://www.egoclouds.com
4) Paired your smartphone to your account while you are connected to a computer.
